Sometimes, the push you need is not the push you want.

I had always known that the tech industry was where I belonged. With its fast pace, constant innovation, and limitless potential for growth, it was the perfect fit for my skills and passions. So, when I was offered a job at a large tech company, I eagerly accepted, and hit the ground running on day one.

However, the future is never certain, and the economic conditions were shifting, causing the company to change its priorities. This led to a round of layoffs, and I found myself among those who were recently let go.

As a matter of fact, this is the first time I’ve lost a job… ever. ?

At first, I was stunned. I had only been at the company for a short time, and I had already invested so much of myself into my work. But as I started to process the situation, I realized that this layoff presented a unique opportunity.

You see, I have always had a passion for building software products and the entrepreneurial spirit. In fact, I’ve already been working on some side projects, albeit slowly. But now, with the freedom that my layoff provided, I finally have the chance to spend more time on these endeavors.

Of course, the journey won’t be easy, but I am ready for the challenges that lie ahead. I am driven by my passion and the belief that I can make a real impact in the tech industry as an entrepreneur. And so, I embark on this new chapter of my career with excitement and determination.

See you on the other side.
